I've had a lifelong on n off again relationship with art. I covered my desks in drawings during my early school days and so I also washed many a desk. I was obsessed with Calvin and Hobbes, Mad magazine and Scary Stories to tell in the Dark with illustrations by Stephen Gammel.
When I "grew up" I went to college for art and design and later to an art University for their second year where I majored in drawing and painting. I was unhappy with my escalating debt and the curriculum becoming more like high school with the amount of non art credits that were needed and took away from class time I was allowed to allocate to art. So I made the decision to leave and not long after that I took up a tattoo apprenticeship. It was not easy but it was a lot of fun. I left that field and afterwards took a step back from art though I always kept doodling and painting here and there.
Currently I'm at another of lifes crossroads and my compass appears to be broken but I did find my way back to art again. And here I am back again at deviant art, the site I've had an on n off again relationship for ten years or so. I'm looking forward to browsing through the variety of art that its members offer and I welcome any feedback and appreciate your viewing my works.
I wan't sure what to write for a biography. If I start using this site more seriously or to refer friends to my page I will probably rewrite this section. Something less life storyish, along the lines of: I'm an artist, I like these mediums and these are my credentials. For now I'm just looking to have fun and happy to be back. Now to start browsing and posting.
